Whimsical Wood Carved Frog Gentleman – Marshall Taiwan – Collectible Retro Decor

Vintage hand-carved wooden frog gentleman figurine, made in Taiwan by Marshall during the mid-20th century. This whimsical character is dressed in a carved suit and bow tie, with original wire glasses and inlaid detail work. He retains his Marshall foil label on the base. He stands 14" tall.

Originally designed to hold a small pipe in his right hand and a cane in the other. These are both missing, but he still has character and charm as you can see from his bio:

Hand-carved with care, Mr. Frog has stood the test of time and still holds onto his mid-century charm. Though his original pipe and cane wandered off years ago, perhaps a new owner could fashion a replacement to restore his distinguished look.
