A delightful antique beaded evening purse or coin purse with micro glass beadwork embroidery showing a paisley design with roses and flowers.
The pattern is continued on both sides. Embossed brass frame has a plunge clasp which is still in working conditions. The depth of colour of the beads is still very nice after all these years. No markings of maker or origins. American 1830-60s based on research.
It is in very good condition for its age with light signs of wear.. Some old sewing repair around the top as pictured. Measures approx 8 x 10.5 cm.
