Vintage cast brass leaf dish mid century decor long leaf ring dish catch all

This listing is for a gorgeous elongated leaf plate made of cast brass (or possibly even bronze?). The texture and form of this plate leads me to believe that it was made by an artisan or a smaller foundry rather than mass-produced in large numbers. However, there is no signature or logo on the piece.

The plate is very elegant in its shape and could be used for decorative or utilitarian purposes as a ring dish or catch-all. It is a great example of mid century design and craftsmanship. This piece likely was cast, it is substantial and heavy for a fairly small piece. The dish measures 1/2 x 10 1/4 x 3 1/4". It is in good, but not perfect condition. Please look carefully at the images as some of the surface imperfections can be seen in the photos.
