On offer is an old livestock bell that is attached to a hand woven coarse woolen harness, decorated with geometric motifs. Approximately 18" in length, not including the tassel. We cannot specifically say for what animal, however, cow, llama or alpaca are the most likely candidates. The bell has a lovely resonant tone which can be heard in the sound clip. The bell has a horn clapper. We are not certain if this is an antique item, it certainly appears to be of a very good age. We believe it to be South American going by the style, although it could possibly be Mongolian or Asian origin too.
